Keep On Swinging!

Watched an animated film, Everyone’s Hero, where a young boy is the main character.

He is playing sandlot ball with the neighborhood boys,

              and he is always chosen last and

              with disparaging remarks by the team that has to take him.

His dad tells him to “Keep on swinging!”

 

 

This is true in all arenas of life;      our goals, dreams, hopes–

all are only possible if we keep on keeping on,

if we don’t give up when our results justify the negative lines others are feeding us.

Boy:   “DAD!  I  DID  IT !!”

Dad: ” I knew you would, if you just kept on swinging!”
